Lady Gaga’s much-anticipated album “Chromatica” is out!.
After over one year of being pregnant with her sixth 6th studio album, the pop star’s “Chromatica” baby is here at last.
It is the follow-up to 2016’s “Joanne” and the “A Star Is Born” soundtrack.
The hitches to the delivery of “Chromatica” were numerous. Previously slated to be released on April 1st, the date was moved forward because of the ongoing pandemic.
“This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic,” she said at the time.
The album also had some leaks as hackers kept going at it. But now, it’s here so hackers can save themselves the trouble.

The album featuring a whopping 16 songs is dominated with dance tracks as the singer returns to the genre that made her career.
It also features three collaborations; “Sour Candy” with K-pop group black pink, “Rain On Me” with Ariana Grande, and “Sine From Above” with Elton John.
Speaking on the album, Lady Gaga said Chromatica’s colors of garish pink and black represents sound, healing, and color:
“The symbol for Chromatica has a sine wave in it, which is the mathematical symbol for sound, and it’s from what all sound is made from, and, for me, sound is what healed me in my life period, and it healed me again making this record, and that is really what Chromatica is all about. It’s about healing and it’s about bravery as well and it’s really like, when we talk about love I think it’s so important to include the fact that it requires a ton of bravery to love someone”
