BBNaija’s Ike Onyeama has revealed getting out of his last relationship with Mercy Eke was his happiest moment. The reality TV star made the reveal during a tell-all interview with Spice TV in Cape Town, South Africa.
Ike Onyeama shared he doesn’t like handing down relationship advise but he enjoined people to be happy before going into relationships.
“I am usually very particular about the relationship advise I give because I don’t like to give advise on something I’m not an expert on. I had a couple of girlfriends but my best advise right now is guys, just make sure you are happy because a relationship involves a lot of work and sacrifice,” he said.
“Don’t jump into it until you are ready, trust me. A real relationship only works when you have the right partner. My happiest moment in life was when I got out of my last relationship.”

Recall that Mercy Eke had recently slammed fans for asking her about her relationship with Ike.
A fan had asked her about the state of her relationship with Ike Onyema, during a Q&A session: “Break up happened. We are done. That ship sank a long time ago. I am in a happy place and he is good as well. Stop flooding my timeline with this silly question; we are over. So, let’s just keep it moving.”
Mercy Eke and Ike Onyema started a whirlwind relationship during the BBnaija season 4 when they were both housemates. Eke went on to win the show and the two carried on a much publicised relationship since then, even starting a reality show together tagged “Mercy and Ike show.”
Mercy however annouced their in November 2020 and even hinted at marriage with someone else.
