Idris Elba, London-born actor has thrown cold water on the speculation he has welcomed a baby with his wife Sabrina Dhowre.
While promoting the drama “Concrete Cowboy” at a virtual press conference during the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday, ET Canada reported that the actor said: “I’m a father of two boys, and definitely I can’t wait for my youngest to see this film”.
After being inundated with well-wishes, Idris recently made sure to let his legion of followers know that, while he is very grateful for all their kind messages, reports he has welcomed a child are simply not true.
Tweeting on Monday, September 14, Idris ensured to clear the air: “Sab @Sabrinadhowre and I thank you for all the congratulations but we haven’t had a baby that’s not true.”

Elba has a daughter Isan, 18, from his first marriage and a son Winston, six, from a previous relationship.
He got engaged to the Somali-Canadian Sabrina Dhowre on 10 February 2018, during a screening of his film Yardie at an East London cinema. They later tied the knot in 2019.
