Thom Mrozek, the court’s head of public relations, confirmed the sentence date on Friday, August 26th according to Channels Television.
Mrozek stated that the troubled socialite will be sentenced before a federal judge in Los Angeles.
Hushpuppi’s sentence will be altered for the third time since his conviction last year. He was scheduled to be sentenced on February 14, but the court postponed it until July 11.

Hushpuppi and 11 of his friends were detained in the UAE in June 2020 on suspicion of hacking, impersonation, scamming, banking fraud, and identity theft.
His extradition to the US came after the UAE police described his arrest in a special operation named “Fox Hunt 2,” in which he was accused of scamming 1.9 million people to the tune of ₦168 billion.
The 39-year-old would subsequently plead guilty to money laundering and face up to 20 years in jail.
He made headlines in July 2021 when he claimed he bribed Abba Kyari, the then-deputy commissioner of police (DCP), to arrest Chibuzo, his co-fraudster and rival.
Although Kyari denied the charges, an FBI investigation found that the investigator worked with Hushpuppi to facilitate Chibuzo’s arrest.
