The Chinese company, Huawei, may be blacklisted by the United States, but it is not the end of the world for it. Russia is signing a 5G development deal with the Chinese company, Huawei.

Russia’s biggest mobile operator, MTS, is now signing a 5G deal with Huawei. This comes at the same time as the Chinese president, Xi Jinping, is making a three-day visit to Moscow.

The deal means that the two countries are now going to be working closely together. It also means that Huawei now has a working relationship with Russia.

Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, said the cooperation between Russia and China is now at an unprecedently high level. Both countries seem to have found common ground by not being on good terms with America.

Huawei in talks with Russia

This is great news Huawei as they have had to endure constant backlash from US president Donald Trump. In a recent report, Facebook Inc also decided to remove its pre-installed apps from Huawei phones.

Huawei is also selling off its undersea cable business in a bid to reduce the toxicity of the Huawei brand. The company also decided to reduce smartphone production orders with Foxconn. This is because of the loss of Google’s Android license. Huawei will no longer have access to ship devices with preloaded Google apps and services.

Japan also seems to be joining forces against Huawei as its company SoftBank has opted to work with Nokia and Ericsson equipment. They are picking these companies to provide their 5G infrastructure.

It looks like the Huawei is already looking out to collaborate with everyone else since the US is proving to be an impossible market to work with at the moment.
