Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are officially married.
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” she wrote on her website
The Clark County Clerk’s Office in Nevada, where Las Vegas is located shows on its record system that Jennifer Lopez will change her name to Jennifer Affleck.
Furthermore, writing on her OntheJLo website, she said the couple had flown to Las Vegas on Saturday, July 16th and queued for a marriage licence alongside four other couples.
The nuptials come 17 years after they called off their first engagement.
The pair met on the set of the movie “Gigli” in 2002 and got engaged in 2003. However, the couple ended their relationship the following year, blaming “excessive media attention”.

Meanwhile Lopez and Affleck reunited in April 2021 after the “Dance Again” singer ended her engagement with Alex Rodriguez.
Lopez sparked engagement rumours in April when she wore a large diamond ring on her left hand in a paparazzi photo.
The singer, 52, was seen shopping for furniture with her 14-year-old daughter, Emme, in Culver City, Los Angeles.
This is Lopez’s fourth marriage. She was married to singer Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014 and they have twins together.
Affleck was also married to actor Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018, and they have three children together.
