A man from Yunnan province china dropped dead on Monday from Hantavirus. He died on a charter bus on his way to work in Shandong Province.
According to reports, experts also tested the 32 other people on the for the Hantavirus. But there is no mention of the results yet.
Global times media broke the news on twitter which caused panic amongst social media users.

Hantavirus is currently trending on social media following the news of the death. People fear there may be an outbreak of this virus which will inadvertently lead to more deaths.

However, Hantavirus is not a new virus as it has been around for several years now. The virus is not a communicable hence, cannot be transmitted from human to human. One can only get it through direct contact with rodent urine, saliva, or feces.
“Although HPS can’t be passed on from person to person, it can be contracted if someone touches their eyes, nose or mouth after touching rodent droppings, urine, or nesting materials” states Centers for Disease Control and Prevention fact sheet.
The Coronavirus which now ravages the world, leaving dead bodies in its wake emanated from the Wuhan Province, also in China.
