Reports from various leakers point to a May 2022 date for the Google launch of its Pixel 6A and smart watch. While the current Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro had a lukewarm launch, the tech company is planning ahead to release an A series variant.
Leak Max Jambor from Germany, says on his Twitter account that the Pixel 6A would arrive in May. This also correlates with the company’s previous arrival of the 5A in May last year. The Pixel 6A is expected to have the same design language as its elderly siblings. Although based on its price, it would be sporting a smaller 12.2MP Sony IMX363 camera and Google’s own Tensor chip.
Elsewhere another leaker Jon Prosser says the Google Pixel watch would be arriving on May 26 this year. Google has a May I/O developer conference it’s scheduling for May, possibly launching with the Pixel 6A.

Earlier reports from the Insider say that Google is making its own in-house smartwatch that could launch in 2022. The tech company has not released a physical smartwatch despite having the software for it. The Google WearOS has been powering most of the non-Watch OS devices.
We didn’t see a Foldable from Google during last year Pixel 6 and 6 Pro event. The first next-generation smartphone from Google codename is the “Passport”.

Reports from reliable leaker Evans Blass, also known as @evleaks published the leak via his tweet account on September 20th 2021. He also mentioned the device was found in Google’s next mobile operating system Android 12.1.
It’s proving to be another exciting year for technology. We could the first releases from Google with its Pixel watch and Foldable segments. The Pixel 6A could provide a competitive entry for those who want a clean Android OS with superb camera processing.
