On 7 October 2022, Google announced a new Live Caption during calls, custom stickers, night photography on Snapchat, a YouTube watch party in Duo, and more for Pixel users.
The new Live Caption feature lets users type during calls and allow Google’s software to read out the text to other people. And to make it more useful, it can be accessed during calls when one user taps on the volume button.

Surprisingly, this feature first rolls out for Pixel 3A to 5A users and 6 and 6 Pro user have to wait until the end of March to enjoy it.

Asides from this feature, Google Pixel is also getting an upgraded At a Glance widget that will display more details like the battery life of connected Bluetooth devices, earthquake alerts, reminders to turn off alarms a day before holidays and more. Meanwhile, the Gboard keyboard on Pixel 6 phones is getting custom texts stickers in Spanish, Italian, and French – previously, it had only been available in US English.
In addition, the Google Recorder app can now transcribe Italian and Spanish, and the Assistant Quick Phrases encompasses Spanish, Italian, and French phrases. Another feature coming for Pixel users is the YouTube watch party which lets friends watch videos over Duo and other sharing apps. A Snapchat Night Sight support is the final update that Google brings for its users this March 2022. The feature will make it possible to get better picture qualities, even in low light, while they use Snapchat.
