McDonald’s New plant-based burger might be near you soon, the beyond meat meatless burger will be available in eight restaurants in the US. This is according to a report by CNBC, a recent partnership between McDonald’s and beyond meat.
This plant-based meat patty will be the newest introduction to the McPlant line. Its International president said in a statement that Vegan burger was created “by McDonald’s and for McDonald’s.”
Surprisingly, McDonald won’t be manufacturing the product, as a spokesperson declined to mention its supplier according to CNBC. McDonald says this new Vegan option would have rice, peas, potatoes and they will be topped with tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pickles. Even sauces like Ketchup, mustard and homegrown American cheese will keep the internals together.

McDonald earlier ran a vegan-based burger in Canada from 2019 to 2020. The same report from CNBC says the company doesn’t intend to revive that program. The Mc plant was also available in other markets including Sweden, Netherlands, Austra and recently the U.K.
This new Mc Plant burger will be available at these stores, McDonald’s in Irving and Carrollton, Texas, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Jennings and Lake Charles, Louisiana and El Segundo and Manhattan Beach, California.
These tests will begin on November 3 and will continue while supply last. McDonald says that future Mcplant availability updates would be coming out of these tests. So Vegan enthusiasts should stay glued to their social media handles for the latest info.
