Gadget Of The Week: A Little Focus On InFocus Vibe 1

The world of feature phones has continued to get larger. This new phone, InFocus Vibe 1, came about based on its exciting functionality. The InFocus Vibe 1 has entered the market in Nigeria with some amazing features at a great price.


The new feature phone prides itself in its Wireless FM function. It has an inbuilt antenna with a digital camera and a big LED torch. The phone is pretty much packed with everything a feature phone should have and more.


It has a browser and a Facebook app along with multimedia functions. The phone can use a memory card of up to 32 Gigabyte. With a 1,000mAh battery, the user can listen to a huge collection of music.

For those who are seeing the brand name, ‘InFocus’ for the first time, it is licensed to Foxconn (formally known as Hon Hai Precision Industry), a Taiwanese multinational electronics contract manufacturing company that assembles the hardware components of devices for the likes of Apple, Nokia, Oppo, Xiaomi, amongst other Smartphone companies.

Foxconn is currently the largest provider of electronics manufacturing services and also the largest private employer in China. Terry Gou founded it. Gou resigned as Chairman in April 2019 to contest for the presidency in Taiwan. Subsequently, Young Liu, the head of its semiconductor unit, replaced him.
