How to create an electronic signature for PDF documents with your iPhone

Ever been in need of signing an online document but all you have with you is your smartphone? Here is how to use electronic signatures on PDF using your iPhone.

The tool you need for this is the Markup feature, which comes inbuilt in most o the latest iPhones. here is what you need to do:

– Open your PDF document in Markup
– Tap on the + at the bottom right
– Tap on the Signature option
– If you don’t have a saved signature, you can either tap on the New Signature at the top of the screen or tap the in the upper left corner.
– You will get the option to label your new signature with your full name, family name, nickname, or nothing.
– After selecting a label, you can sign at the bottom of the screen. For first time users, you may need to use the Clear button to keep trying until you get your signature correctly.
– Then, tap the Done button at the top right corner when you get your signature right.
– You can now move the box containing your signature to any position on your document as well as resize it.
– Once in the correct position, tap outside the box.
– Finally, tap the Done button at the upper left corner and save the file.

For first time users, the next time you open any PDF in your iPhone’s Markup and tap on Signature, previously saved signatures will show up and you can just tap on them to select them. Additionally, you can add or remove signatures.
