American singer Demi Lovato has a new man in her life two years after her former relationship with Max Ehrich hit the rocks.

Lovato is currently dating a fellow musician, a source close to the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer-songwriter tells PEOPLE exclusively.

“It’s a really happy and healthy relationship,” says the insider. “He’s a super great guy.”

Lovato, 29, is already gearing up for the release of their eighth studio album “Holy Fvck” featuring the singles “Skin of My Teeth” and “Substance on August 19.

In July 2020, Demi Lovato and ex-fiancee Max Ehrich ended their relationship two months after their engagement.

“It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers. They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together.” Says the source.

Ehrich proposed to Lovato in Malibu on July 22 2020.

Following the romantic engagement, Lovato wrote that she said “yes” to the person who made her want to “to be the best version” of herself, adding, “I knew that I loved you the moment I met you”.

“When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his “little partner” something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent. To me, it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner.” Lovato wrote.
