Late TB Joshua

TB Joshua who died on June 5th at age 57 was laid to rest on Friday 9th July. However, top Nigerian church owners and religious leaders were conspicuously missing from the funeral service, an act that many Nigerians did not miss. Daddy Freeze took to his Instagram page to make a video, berating church leaders for snubbing the late prophet’s funeral.

“Prophet T.B Joshua has been laid to rest. May his soul rest in peace,” he said. “However, the low turnout of Christians especially top Nigerian pastors who attended this man’s funeral makes me worry. If we truly are Christians, every church should have sent a delegation. I must say I am so disappointed in all these pastors because they have not shown a legacy of love. So, none of them could fly their private jets and attend the funeral?”

Daddy Freeze further added that while pastors and religious leaders continually preach the message of judge not, they have judged late Prophet TB Joshua even in death.

“If you ask me and you expect me to be honest, I am entirely disappointed in all the big daddies that we have. If they behave like this, how are we the children going to behave? You people have turned gods of men. I’m sure they don’t understand the gravity of their actions, especially these ones we call our daddies.”

Daddy Freeze is quite famous for harshly critiquing Nigerian church leaders. He’s also the convener of the #FreeTheSheeple movement, a cause he says is dedicated to freeing people from “the imprisoning shackles of religion and tradition.”
