Super talented artiste 9ice has released his first single for the year 2020 titled “Ayepo Gan”. In the song, the artiste shares a vital message about life.

On this record, 9ice implores everyone to be gentle with life, which is meant to be enjoyed and not stressed. He uses his indigenous gift (proverbs and adage) to describe life. Then he explains how humans should live and make it meaningful.

He sang:

“Don’t be envious of any man. Don’t be an ungrateful being, and never live with impossible thoughts. All things are possible with God when you take that bold step and do more.”

“Ayepo Gan” is a Yoruba word that means there are lots of life enjoyment (or life enjoyment is so surplus that one man can’t enjoy it all totally).

9ice is one contemporary artiste who constantly promotes the Yoruba language with his music. He, however, received backlash for his song, “Living Things”, which he released in 2016. This was because many people claimed the song promoted internet fraud, popularly known as “Yahoo Yahoo”.

9ice got married in a lavish wedding ceremony last year to his wife, Olasunkanmi Ajala, who is an established event planner.

Sunkanmi Ajala and 9ice have been in an off and on a relationship long before the wedding. The two welcomed their first daughter, Michelle Abolanle Akande, six years ago.
