Being a fan of Disney, you couldn’t out on the “Shake It Up” and “K.C Undercover” star, Zendaya. She is presently on the cover of the June issue of Vogue Magazine. In an interview with Vogue, she talks about her latest project which involves her playing the lead role in HBO’s series, “Euphoria”.

The 22-year-old is not only an actress but also an influential fashion maven. She has bagged prominent roles in “The Greatest Showman”, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and its upcoming sequel. Recently, she became the youngest global brand ambassador for Lancôme.

Her latest work is as the lead of HBO’s upcoming teen drama series, “Euphoria”, which is due in June. In the series, Zendaya portrays a recovering drug addict. This character is different from the innocent aspiring backup dancer she portrayed for three seasons of Disney’s “Shake It Up”.

Just last year, she wrapped up her most recent Disney project as K.C. Cooper on “K.C. Undercover”. On the new series with HBO, Zendaya tells Vogue,

“It’s a totally different thing than being the star of ‘K.C. Undercover’. That first day on set, I was honest-to-God terrified.”

Meanwhile, executive producer Sam Levinson didn’t think she wasn’t up to the task. He explains to Vogue:

“There’s a way Z can vacillate between seeming extremely tough and extremely vulnerable, and it’s all in her face. She can flip on a dime. I felt like that’s the person who can channel this character and her mix of madness and sweetness. It was an instinct.”
