Twitter takes the social media world by storm as it rolls out a new voice note feature that allows users to ‘Tweet [their] voice’. The company first rolled out the feature for iOS users and has not said when Android and web users will get theirs.
In a Tweet on Wednesday, 17th June 2020, the company said:
You can Tweet a Tweet. But now you can Tweet your voice!
Rolling out today on iOS, you can now record and Tweet with audio. pic.twitter.com/jezRmh1dkD

Here is how to use Twitter voice note if you are using the updated version of the app on an iOS device.
— Click on the Tweet button when you are on the app.
— Compose a Tweet and then tap on the voice icon (it appears beside the camera icon beneath the new Tweet space).
— Then, tap on the recording button (a microphone icon).
— Tap on Done when you finish recording and share your voice Tweet with the world.
Testing the Voice note feature, Twitter posted a Tweet to exemplify using it:

Many other iOS Twitter users have also begun testing the feature and making voice notes. It also led to Android Twitter users calling for the feature to be rolled out for them as well.
