Apple is also another smartphone maker that is in contention for owning a portion of the AR glass space but it is yet to confirm when this product will hit the market. The last we heard of the iPhone-maker’s wearable is that the release date has been moved back to later in 2023.

According to CNBC, the Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition will be lightweight, much like Google’s and less like the sci-fi looking Microsoft Hololens.

It is equipped with retina-level display, gesture control support, and support for flagship Xiaomi smartphones like the upcoming Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro.
