In what has become an embarrassment for Xiaomi, its CEO, Lei Jun was caught posting on Weibo from an iPhone. It may not be as strange as people are making it seem, yet, it is embarrassing.

It is a matter of “see no evil … speak no evil”, but now it has been seen. Despite Jun deleting the post immediately he saw his error, the damage was already done. Screenshots of the post were already going around on the web, with the iPhone label circled.
According to Gadgets 360, the post had been about encouraging people to spend more on buying books. However, it was Weibo’s technology that got Xiaomi’s CEO into trouble. Usually, the social media website shows what device users are posting from.
