Nigerian afrobeats superstar Wizkid was recently tapped to feature on the British Magazine Wonderland winter issue.For the cover, Wizkid opted for a two-piece streetwear from the coveted Daniel w. Fletcher AW/20 and GCDS. On his neck was a shiny neckpiece of the same color as his outfit.
On the inside, the singer shared the inspiration behind his new album “Made In Lagos”, why he decided to switch up his sound.
“For me, experimenting with a new sound, I had to make sure the people don’t confuse it from where it’s coming from. I had to make sure people don’t forget where Wiz is from, what Wiz represents. It’s a big change in my sound, you know? From the last album until now. I felt like it was very important for me to call this album Made In Lagos.”

“Made In Lagos” is a 14-tracked album features Burna Boy, Skepta, Damien Marley, Tay Iwar, Projexx, Tems, Ella Mai, H.E.R and Terri. Producers on the album are Kel P, Blaq Jerzee, London, Sarz, Mut4y, Juls and Dro. The album is Wizkid’s fifth solo body of work in a highly successful career that has spanned over a decade
Wonderland Magazine’s bi-annual issue also featured rapper Jaden Smith, Irish actress Eve Hewson, American singer Moses Sumney, American actor Nick Robinson, American model and poet Kai Isaiah Jamal and fashion label, Gucci.
