The problem of human trafficking is one that continues to plague many countries, Nigeria inclusive.
People, especially females are either snatched or coerced then transported to other countries where they’re used for cheap labor or made to become s*x slaves.
This is why the recent action of the Nigerian foreign affairs ministry in retrieving 50 trafficked Nigerians is noteworthy and highly commendable.
The 50 trafficked persons were evacuated from Lebanon to Abuja alongside 19 other stranded Nigerians.
Geoffery Onyeama, Minister for Foreign Affairs broke the news via his verified Twitter handle. He said the 69 evacuees arrived in Nigeria on Sunday May 24.

They are however, going to undergo the mandatory 14 day-Isolation. This is according to the law imposed by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
