Microsoft plans to demo the gameplay of its next-generation Xbox Series X at a special event on 7th May 2020. The console maker will hold a special Xbox inside stream to show off some gameplay from the Xbox Series X.
The event will involve participation from Microsoft’s “global developers partners”, however, game titles will be showcased later in the year.
“So pumped to see our partners showing us a first look at Xbox Series X gameplay next week. Also, know the Xbox Game Studios teams are hard at work on some big summer plans. More details soon!,” Aaron Greenberg, general manager of Xbox games marketing said.
Xbox also posted the announcement on their Twitter handle, including the date and time of the event.

The game is set to be released around Christmas in 2020, so Xbox may choose to keep the game titles under wraps till early June.
Microsoft had promised a new gaming experience when it unveiled the console in December 2019.
Rivals, Sony, is also releasing its PlayStation 5 later this year, however, apart from the technical details, not much is know about the console. The company had, however, released details of its DualSense Controller.
The Xbox X doesn’t yet have an official price, however, with the specifications announced, it is expected to come at a premium.
