Star Wars took its fans back to a galaxy far, far away on Monday night with the release of a new trailer for the upcoming film, “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker”. This is the ninth instalment in the saga. It is set to hit theatres on 20th December 2019.

The trailer started with Rey (played by Daisy Ridley) running through a forest. She has a light saber in her hand. The clip also shows epic battle scenes, including all the familiar characters and droids fans have grown to love.

We hear Luke Skywalker telling Rey, “The force will be with you … always” in a voice-over. The trailer also reads, “The saga will end … the story lives forever.”

There’s also a memorable scene with fan favorite C-3PO delivering this line: “Taking one last look … at my friends.”
