But on Monday 5th July 2021, the 36-year-old songwriter took to his Instagram page to put out a heartfelt eulogy, reminiscing some of the legacies of his late dad.

The rapper also recounted how his late father, who was a police officer, once assisted a lawyer who represented him in court, adding that he gets his self-confidence from his father.

“I had a court case at a time, I lost everything I had (and I hate asking for help from anyone… even my own parents),” he wrote.

My Dad walked into the courtroom on the day set for hearing and my lawyer, in that case, lost his s**t. “That’s the man I was telling you about all these years,” he said to his partner next to him.
