Family members of the accused had also sued the decision. They did this in an attempt to halt the execution stating coronavirus worries. The worldwide health pandemic has seen the demise of more than 135,000 individuals in the United States. The prison facilities too are not left out.

According to the Justice Department Reporter Mike Balsam, Lee was strapped to a cart wearing an IV in his left arm.
Many argue that the US government’s current administration is only trying to score cheap political points.

Shawn Nolan, one of the attorneys for the men facing federal execution, has said; “The government has been trying to plow forward with these executions despite many unanswered questions about the legality of its new execution protocol,”.

These developments may also add another front to the discussion about criminal equity change in the coming 2020 elections.
