Twitter User Catches Her Cheating Boyfriend Using Fitbit

An NFL Network reporter Jane Slater shared a sad but rather funny story of how she caught an ex-boyfriend cheating using the Fitbit device. A story of how unbeatable technology is.

Slater, 38, tweeted: “An Ex Boyfriend once got me a Fitbit for Christmas. I loved it.” She added in the tweet: “We synced up, motivated each other… didn’t hate it until he was unaccounted for at 4am and his physical activity levels were spiking on the app.”

Slater Has Moved On From Fitbit Fiasco

“Wish the story wasn’t real,” added the clearly disappointed reporter. To expound that, the spike was due to infidelity, Slater shared another tweet that read: “Spoiler alert: he was not enrolled in an OrangeTheory class at 4 am.”

 

Slater continued to share more of the story via subsequent tweets, describing how her friends supported her through a hard time. The news quickly went viral after being picked up by many media sources.

 

“My girlfriend once said ‘one day we will laugh about this’ as I sobbed uncontrollably in the car. I have now many times ba hahaha,” Slater replied to comments. We guess all is well that ends well. It seems Slater has now moved on from this hurt and now has a great story she shares with the world amidst much laughter.
