The concert which took place on Friday, November in Houston, Texas saw a crowd surge that caused a stampede leading to injuries and deaths. Among those confirmed dead is a 10-year-old child.

The Migos rapper gave his first video statement on Saturday evening via Instagram where he said he was devasted by the incident.

“I’m honestly just devastated,” Scott said as he repeatedly.

“We’re actually working right now to identify the families so we can help assist them through this tough time,” the rapper said.

Many have criticised the show organisers for continuing the concert even while CPR was being administered to injured and dying people.

However, Travis Scott said he was unaware of what was going on while he was performing.

He said, “Any time I could make out, you know, anything that’s going on, you know, I just stopped my show and, you know, helped them get the help they need.”

“The crowd became chaotic and a stampede began,” the suit wrote. “Many begged security guards hired by Live Nation Entertainment for help, but were ignored.”

Drake is being sued for continuing to perform after inciting mayhem with his appearance on stage.

“As Drake came on stage alongside Travis Scott he helped incite the crowd even though he knew of Travis Scott’s prior conduct,” the complaint charges.
