It’s not every day you see something as iconic and heartwarming as a bride and groom in full regalia joining in a protest.
This was the story of a couple who’d just finished saying their vows on Saturday afternoon and joined in the ongoing Black Lives Matter protest in the United States.
The couple, Kerry-Anne Perkins and Micheal Gordon as soon as they said “I do”, clasped their hands together and joined protesters who were marching towards the city hall in Philadelphia.
The groom was dapper in his tuxedo while the bride looked gorgeous in her off-white wedding gown and veil.
At a point during the procession, the crowd parted ways for the couple to share a lingering kiss. They also posed for their wedding photos with protest placards serving as backdrop.

Then, they continued the march along the Benjamin Franklin Way towards the City Hall.
Happy married life to these ones and more power to them.
