Actress Mary Njoku has reprimanded women who have a tendency of complimenting their spouses whenever they care for their children or perform other household tasks.
Mary, who recently celebrated her tenth wedding anniversary, claimed in a post on her Instagram page that women are the root of their troubles because they overreact to small gestures made by their spouses, such as clearing the table after meals or helping the kids with their homework.
She wrote;
”OMG! my husband is so Humble! He Helps me with the Kids Homework! He even helped me feed junior yesterday
Dear friend, your husband isn’t helping you with the kids. They are His kids too. He is just being a great dad. Appreciate Him for that

The Nollywood actress and her husband had their second wedding in the presence of their kids, Jason, Annabelle, Amber, and close friends Mary Lazarus, Uche Ogbodo, Moyo Lawal, and Emmanuella Remmy.
Mary Njoku is one actress who doesn’t fail to drop marriage nudgets on her social media pages.
In May 2021, she took to her Instagram page to chide men who expect their wives to go over and beyond in marriages.
The actress and mom of three to the agreement of many in the comments said men have to contribute their equal quota in the homes as women are not robots.
“Haba!! Body no be firewood . We have to either choose one or do a little of BOTH. And Oga has to do a little of BOTH too. To create a balance. Women are humans, not robots!!” she wrote.
Mary Njoku and her husband Jason Njoku are one of Nigeria’s most influential couples. They’re the co-founders and CEO of iROKOtv, a video-on-demand service for Nigerian movies. The couple has three children together.
