The Undertaker Quits WWE After 30-year-long Career

Wrestling legend The Undertaker, real name Mark Calaway has annouced his retirement from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He made the announcement on November 22nd, during the final episode of his docuseries “Undertaker: The Last Ride.”The Undertaker WWE Retirement

Undertaker before his retirement had a long and colorful career in WWE that spanned three decades.

The 55-year-old WWE in the ThunderDome with virtual fans watching from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic shared:

“For 30 long years, I’ve made that slow walk to this ring and have laid people to rest time and time again. Now, my time has come. My time has come to let The Undertaker rest… in… peace.”

His colleagues in the industry, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Mick Foley, Shane McMahon, Big Show, JBL, and Jeff Hardy among others since congratulated Undertaker on his retirement.


WWE Chairman Vince McMahon also made a public appearance to give tributes to Undertaker. “Thirty years. Thirty long, arduous years. That’s three decades! Three decades this man, not withstand his injuries and hardships he’s endured and stricken fear in the hearts of, if not, terror in the hearts of almost everyone he faced here in the ring,” he said.


“At the same time he entertained the global audience. Be it WWF or, of course, WWE Universe currently. tonight marks an end of an era. End of an era of a long, storied career. It has to never be duplicated. So tonight, we say, we say goodbye.”
