One reason why creator Josh Wardle sold his game might be due to the sheer responsibility of managing it. He says that it has “been a little overwhelming, running the game since its creation. The early beginning of the game shows that Wardle created the masterpiece as a gift for his partner Palak Shah. As their love grew for word games, the game was publicly released in 2020 with a viral emoji-based message feature.

After its Acquisition, Wordle will join other New York Times Games such as the Mini crossword, Letter Boxed, Vertex, and Spelling Bee. Here is a link to try out the game for yourself, we are very sure you will be hooked as well.
