Sony is allowing gamers stand a chance to buy its PS5 for the holidays by registering on its website. The company says that it would send out invitations to those who registered with instructions on how to buy the PS5.
Especially in the United States, Sony has “a limited amount of PS5 consoles”. Those who get the invitation by Sony will be “based on previous interests and PlayStation activities.”
That means recent owners and engages of its gaming platform should be expecting those invites. You would have to have a PlayStation Network ID to register though.
There have been reports of Apple Music showing on some users Playstation 5 consoles. Only Spotify has been available on the Sony console platform, since its launch in November last year.

Apple’s next hardware event is on 18, October 2021 and there might just be an announcement regarding the Apple Music compatibility on the Playstation 5.
The global chip shortage has really affected the PS5 production, and the company is using creative ways to get its PS5 to gamers. The registration process should get the console to gamers who are in dire need of it for the holidays.
