THE FUTURE OF WORK WITH DELL SOLUTIONS

 

Dell Technologies Limited partners with TD Africa and Preciousgate Technologies Limited to promote the future of work with Dell Solutions. The event took place on the 21st of July 2023, at Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Lagos.

The event started at 10.46 am with an opening remark by the Executive Director, Sales & Tech, Preciousgate Technologies Ltd, Emmanuel Adedeji.

He welcomed everyone to the event and presented the value proposition of Preciousgate Technologies Ltd. He ran through the products and services available and urged the guests to pay keen attention as the event unfolds and take necessary actions to grow their business using Dell Technologies Solutions.  

To enlighten the guests on The Future of Work – How to Win with Dell Technologies Clients Solutions, Purity Njeri, Clients Solutions Lead – Southeast Africa took the stage to make her presentation. “Dell has evolved from offering PCs to Data storage and Networks.

The future of work is hybrid and has been modernized using the right devices and security”, she said. She spoke about Dell’s strides in innovation to meet the needs of modern times, one of which is the Dell Optimizer; an Artificial Intelligence feature that helps a system better understand the way the user works.  

 

FUTURE

 

It secures the system better and studies the user’s work habits to enable it to work effectively without any hindrance. The Application Optimization is another A. I feature which gives the user a lot of flexibility and the best working performance. These Dell Optimizer and Application Optimizer A. I feature are built-in to make work flexible on devices. She engaged the audience with questions to round up the first part of her presentation. 

The guests went on a tea break after which they reconvened for the second part of Purity Njeri’s presentation. She kicked started her presentation as she ran through the portfolios for every work style. There are Latitude and XPS portfolios.  

 

FUTURE

 

Latitude refers to commercial laptops ranging from latitude 3000, 5000, 7000 and 9000 series, while XPS for every workspace environment ranges from XPS 16, 17, 18 and 19. She concluded her presentation with the Dell product portfolio and urged the guests to dive into the different ranges of Dell products and solutions. “Dell thrives to satisfy its customers and also drives impact in the communities they work with, she added. She took on a series of questions from the audience and gave answers as she ended her presentation. 

 

To take the audience virtually through The Future of Work – Display and Client Peripherals was Inside Sales Specialist, DNCP, Dell Technologies, Mounia Mrhizou. The first part of her presentation dwelt on Dell’s commercial monitor Upsell path which ranges from E series, P series, E series HS, U series, C series, and UP series. She moved on to the Dell meeting space solutions such as Compute, Collaboration software, Logitech conference cameras and speakers, Logitech tap touch controller, and Dell large format monitor.

Next was the Dell Client Peripherals portfolio such as Power, Audio, Privacy Reuters, carrying cases, Mouses, keyboards and Active pens, Monitors and stands Speakers, Charging carts and Kits, Power banks and Adapters, and, lastly, Webcams. She summarized her virtual presentation by running through the new additions of Client peripherals. These are Dell Premier collaboration keyboard – KB900 RTS, Dell Premier collaboration keyboard and mouse – KM900 RTS, Dell Premier rechargeable mouse -MS900, and lastly, Dell ECOLOOP pro slim Backpack CP5724S and Dell ECOLOOP pro slim Briefcase CC5624S RTS. 

Another virtual presentation on Dell Services for CSG was taken by the Channel Services Account Executive, Dell Technologies Emerging Africa, Saga Hesham. She discussed the Dell services with CSG and how they can add value to the users. She went on to highlight the challenges the client faces in the market space. These challenges, she said, range from Deployment, Security, Management, and Support. She proceeded on to the Dell Client lifecycle services “The aim is to support you throughout your lifecycle with Dell” she added. She rounded off her presentation with endpoint security which helps boost security by locking down common attack threats.

He lauded the guests for gracing the event, despite the harsh economic condition the country is currently passing through. He promised them that Preciousgate Technologies Ltd and Dell Technologies Ltd will always be there to serve them better.
