Nokia 8.3 5G is in the pipeline already but we found some interesting new details about it from alleged patents of the device that leaked online. While the company announced the smartphone on 19th March 2020, it is still speculated that it will hit the market in July.
Since the Nokia 8.3 5G announcement, there have been specifications online. For example, GSM Arena discloses that the phone’s display will be as large as 6.77 inches. Also, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor will power it as well.
Now, Nokiamob, a blog that focuses on writing about Nokia, recently published a story on what the Nokia 8.3 5G will look like in-depth, judging from patents submitted to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

While there are images of the device already online, they are 2D projections. These patents show the 3D graphics giving us more details.
The designs show that the smartphone is likely to bring four rear cameras arranged like those of the Nokia 7.2. However, the position of the selfie-camera is different as it is at the top left of the display. Also, instead of a teardrop, it shows that it will bring a tiny cutout.
Nokiamob claims these designs were published on 22nd April after the company had submitted them on 17th March 2020 for patenting. Still, we would have to wait until the official images of the Nokia 8.3 5G surfaces from the company itself.
Interestingly, it also looks bulkier and its back cameras landing surface bulges off the device. But it still looks like it will fit easily into your pocket. We didn’t get any detail on what material the case is made from.
The smartphone’s large storage options of 64GB/6GB RAM and 128GB/8GB RAM makes it a mouthwatering prospect for Nokia lovers. There are also other promising features like its 64MP lead camera and its 4,500 mAh battery capacity.
