Musk says “2022 is the year we will be looking at factory locations to see what makes the most sense with possibly some announcement by the end of this year.” Although He made promises for its Cybertruck and Roadsters arriving soon, Tesla is postponing production.

“If we were to introduce new vehicles, our total vehicle output will decrease,” Musk said. “We will not be introducing new vehicle models this year. It wouldn’t make sense.” Tesla says that its new Austin Texas factory will be almost complete and begin production.

Elon Musk says its production should begin “Hopefully next year,” without certainty “that is most likely.” Conclusively the company says it will be improving its Full Self-driving technology. “There are several profound improvements to the FSD stack that are coming in the next few months,” Musk said. Its robotaxi service will also launch “this year” the CEO forecasted. This is when its cars have fully able to drive themselves, then the program would start. Hence the need for more FSD development.
