Teni Replies Trolls Who Attributed Her Weight Loss To Surgery

Singer, Teni, has reacted to the negative comments made about her weight loss efforts weigh,

as many have assumed that she underwent weight-loss surgery.

On November 22, 2022, Teni announced that she lost 75 pounds naturally and without surgery.

However, the remarks that followed the post led the singer to attack a number of individuals.

“Lost 75 pounds no surgery! Dumb asses claiming I did can suck mine!” she wrote in response to the negative comments.

Before starting her weight-loss quest, Teni had suffered comments that shamed her body because of her obesity.

Given the recent circumstance, one would anticipate that the singer would be spared from these remarks.

This is not the first time a celebrity has come under fire for saying they were able to lose weight without having surgery.

Earlier this year, Eniola Badmus, a Nollywood actress, chastised an Instagram user

for claiming that she had previously admitted to having weight loss surgery.

We can say that Teni is fast becoming a celebrity surrounded by controversies

Just recently, the singer trended for avoiding Buhari’s handshake whilst receiving an award from Him

President Muhammadu Buhari in october conferred the National Honours Award on 447 persons at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

According to the National Honours Award Investiture 2022 Programme, 450 recipients were awarded. This makes the total number of Nigeria’s national honours awardees 5,341 since 1963.

Teni was seen to be the only recipient who failed to greet or shake the President when collecting her award.

Her action generated a lot of controversies among Nigerians who viewed Teni’s conduct as a total disrespect to the office of the presidency.

Some were of the opinion that Teni has not contributed anything to national growth and development to warrant her nomination for a national award.

Meanwhile, some people commended the manner in which Teni received the award stating that President Buhari deserves no respect from Nigerians considering how his government has made life so terrible for his citizens for the past seven years he assumed office.
