Fast-rising Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi aka, Tems, is the latest cover of Genevieve magazine.Tems Is Cover Girl On Genevieve Magazine's "The Conversation Issue"The BET “Best New International Act” Viewer’s Choice Awards 2021 nominee was featured in the magazine’s “Conversations” issue.

Announcing the news on Instagram, the magazine wrote:

“We are so excited to present our Conversations Issue, starring the gorgeous, uber-talented singer, songwriter and producer, @TemsBaby! In her conversation with @sonia_irabor, the Essence singer, speaks candidly about her relationship with God; how she found and maintained her calm through the lockdown and finding joy in even the most chaotic of situations.”

 

In her conversation with Sonia Irabor, the music star speaks candidly about a few personal issues in her life. One of these topics is her relationship with God. Without the social interactions the world knew, this period led many into depression and loneliness. At a chaotic time, Tems opened up about finding and maintaining her calm during the pandemic.

Tems is a fast-rising Nigerian artist who captivated her audience with her soulful reggae sound with her first hit single ”Try me” in 2019.

In December 2020, Tems also caught the attention of American singer Chris Brown. Chris took to his Instastory to shower praises on the singer saying she is “so fire”.
