TECNO announced the Spark 5 series on 4th May 2020 and began a three-day countdown on 9th May 2020, likely, to the date of its release. Below, we bring you all the specifications of the Spark 5 that we found.
The smartphone will be the fifth generation of devices that TECNO will launch under the Spark series. Its predecessor, the Spark 4, brought three smartphones namely: Tecno Spark 4 Lite, Tecno Spark 4 Air and Tecno Spark 4.
Likely, the Spark 5 series will also contain three smartphones. Its screen will be larger than those of the existing Spark lineups, its Twitter page confirms that it will measure up to 6.6 inches.

Additionally, GSM Arena claims that its four rear cameras will have the following specifications: main camera (13MP), macro (2MP), depth (2MP), and a QVGA sensor. Its selfie camera is still an 8MP shooter like that of the Spark 4.
It also brings a storage capacity of 32GB which Spark 4 users are familiar with and a 2GB RAM. However, one major innovation users are going to see is its new dual front LED light. The company posted the news on Day 2 of its countdown.

In the TECNO Spark 5 power compartment, the device packs a 5,000 mAh battery, according to GSM Arena. There is no information yet about the pricing scheme, likely, it will be higher than Spark 4’s $106 (NGN38,000+) price tag.
TECNO also gave this smartphone a new design that it describes as “3D curved edges”.
