Oraimo’s wireless Freepods was recently updated with noise isolation and silicone tips. These new earbuds which cost around ₦14,000 and ₦16500 depending on the colour, sounds better than the predecessor Freepods 2. Users shouldn’t mistake noise isolation for noise cancellation, as the noise isolation partially blocks out noise.
These buds are currently available at a festive discount and only in black and white colours. Asides, from the new noise isolation, these buds have better call quality and sound. It also has IPX5 water only resistance rating. They look similar to the more expensive Airpods Pro but are available in black.
Another striking upgrade from the Freepods 2 is the Freepods 3’s intuitive touch input that makes controls super easy. Users can pause, skip, and play songs easily without opening their phones and even make calls. It also comes with a higher Bluetooth version 5.2.

The Freepods 3 wireless earbuds use 13mm high sensitive drivers, delivering powerful bass. Throughout my usage, the bass was rich and satisfying. This earbud is tuned for Afrobeats with Nigerian veteran musician 2baba in the production process.
For battery life, Oraimo promises up to 8 hours of playtime but I was getting around 6 hours maybe because of high volumes. Together with the charging case, there’s an additional 28 hours of playtime.
Included in the product box are 3 different silicone ear tips for best fit. The earbuds have two different smart modes in each pair that blocks noise and air leakage. There is also an awareness mode that allows users to hear background noise and listen to music simultaneously.
Oraimo is famous for its remarkable hardware and audio quality; and at this budget price, the company is offering premium sound. Wait till you use these earbuds to make calls, the sound is crystal clear on both ends.
