TD Africa Trains Partners On Boosting Corporate Identity

TD Africa, Africa’s principal technology distribution company, organised a sensitisation event aimed at helping resellers to boost their business prospects through the use of customised domain names. The event which was held today, Thursday, October 21, 2021, at TD Africa’s Gbagada office was facilitated by TD Services, the service arm of TD Africa.

To begin with, Mr. Moses Okolo, an Enterprise Solutions expert at TD Services introduced the partners to TD Africa’s corporate services including; Web Security, Data Warehousing, Microsoft Azure, Enterprise Mobility and Security (EMS),  and Microsoft 365.  He also enlightened the attendees on the importance of deploying cloud services and corresponding security measures for businesses.

“We are big on security – and that’s because threats often show up. Leveraging the possibilities of advanced software development and AI these days, Microsoft Azure offers maximum defence mechanisms for business resources online.  And of course, we understand that our partners have various needs ranging from singular to hybrid, so we offer bespoke packages across a broad range of services. For instance, we can facilitate email migration from other emails to 365 powered mails for partners who are considering this option, ” he explained.

Mr. Okolo further encouraged the partners to move their database to the Cloud, as this could be a saving grace for their business. According to him, setting up a data centre could be quite an expensive undertaking for partners who would first need to secure physical space, purchase equipment and hire necessary human resources. On the other hand, full or hybrid cloud services could be deployed with minimal effort and at flexible rates.

“Moving to the cloud is a lot better as it relieves small businesses of those costs with a pay on the go service subscription,” added Mr Wale Olayigbade, a Cloud Engineer at TD Services
