You think you’ve seen it all until Lisa Folawiyo takes on the challenge. When it comes to fashion, she need not hoot her horn as her history in fashion says it all. The designer is the name behind the multi-faceted global women’s wear and accessories collection, Lisa Folawiyo Studio.

On her take on styling, she recently heralded her way into 2019 gallantly. With a simple dress, she pulled off three looks that each have a different outlook on styling techniques.

Lisa Folawiyo is currently wearing one of her brands which has an ornate embellishment.

“Her passion for clothes and her innate sense of style led her to create what at the time had never been done; the embellishing of the local Ankara fabric which has now become a global phenomenon.”

In the ensemble, you can see she is SS19 ready in a mini dress made out of unique print fabric. The colourful piece of orange, purple and green blends perfectly with her skin tone. Also, the mid-length dress gives her a flirty appeal.

Three styles, one dress

Look 1

If you’re looking for drama, then this is it. When the legs don’t do the talking, your heels will take the attention all the way to those limps. That’s what this look brings: a feminine-yet-savvy look. To get this ensemble, match your dress with an encrusted slingback and a metallic purse. Put on a lip colour that would scream, “I mean business’.

Look 2

If you’re up for a getaway trip, this look works perfectly. She paired the dress with white strappy mules and a trendy straw bag. Give your look an upbeat yet casual-chic appeal as she did.

For a more casual take, she toned down the look with a pair of pointy monochrome two-tone shoes. Also, she successfully got the perfect laidback look by pairing her dress with a Fendi cross bag. This is a super comfortable take which would still turn some heads.

With the right accessories, you can transform a boring dress to the best in your closet.
