Spotify Launches A Netflix Hub That Shows Popular Shows Soundtracks

Spotify has launched a dedicated hub that shows the hottest soundtracks from Netflix most popular shows and Movies. This hub will also display behind the scene music production of these soundtracks and other extras.

This isn’t the first time Spotify is creating a dedicated hub for an entertainment streaming company.  Earlier, in 2019 the music streaming platform launched a Disney hub that had official soundtracks, playlists and even podcasts.

Spotify’s new Netflix hub will be available to both free and paid subscribers of Spotify. There is an already existing official playlist offering from On My Block, La Casa de Papel and Bridgerton.

Also, official soundtracks from Squid Game, Cowboy BebopBruised, and more in the coming months will be available. Podcasts are not left out as there are available in this hub Netflix’s official podcast including Netflix Is a Daily Joke, and The Crown: The Official Podcast and others.

Netflix is currently testing a new TikTok style feed for kids on its iOS app. This will show short clips of content from its children sections according to reports from Bloomberg.

Most of these contents will be shown in landscape mode different from its rivals view in portrait. While there are numerous calls to reduce or limit children content for gaming and media; Netflix is limiting these clips to 10-20 in a single sitting.

The iOS app for Netflix has this new kids clip feature in testing and there’s no word yet for Android availability. The kid’s clip feature will be using the familiar Tiktok style to showcase child-friendly content.
