The new feature

This immediately will stop the blocked users from accessing your listening activity, music page and any other public playlist. This new way is far easier than when users had to call the customer support team at Spotify to block a user.

Originally the block artist debuted in 2019 but users needed a block user option too. Since 2018 Spotify users have been clamouring for an easier way to block users who were harassing and stalking them.

Spotify has labelled users requests for a user block feature as “under consideration.” Currently, in the closing months of 2021, the company is changing that status.

Although, to enjoy Spotify’s offline playback you need to be at least on Wear OS 2.0 or newer. And, the feature is only available for its premium subscribers.
