Streaming platforms Spotify and Apple Music have pulled down a surprise 2022 album by jailed s****l offender R. Kelly, titled I Admit It.
In 2018, Spotify had made the decision to stop promoting the singer’s songs long before his conviction. At the time, most of the backlash against Kelly had been allegation but the music site decided to stop allowing his songs until he is cleared of the charges.
However, instead of being cleared, he was found guilty and sent to prison, where he is still living. At the time that this article was published, it is not clear how the album was recorded or released.

The surprise R. Kelly 2022 album contains tracks about the years of allegations leveled against, TMZ says in its report. It contains 13 songs and although we didn’t try to listen to the songs, we found reports that claim that it contains a 3-part piece called “I Admit it (I Did It),” a track that is similar to the 19-minute track he dropped on SoundCloud in 2018.
Billboard had said that the album was released by Ingrooves, a distributor owned by Universal Music Group. The singer’s team is saying that they didn’t do it and it appears that the album that surfaced is a bootleg version.
The music media outlet further said that Ingrooves did an internal investigation and claims Real Talk Entertainment was behind the R. Kelly 2022 album release. It has decided to cut ties with it as a result.
We have heard nothing from R. Kelly himself but the people behind the release have gotten him trending on social media with tens of thousands of tweets.
