Sony Is Publishing More Games For Its PlayStation PC Label Division

Sony’s PlayStation PC LLC is publishing more games for its PC gaming customers. More games from its Mobile arm are moving to its PC Segment. Plans to expand sony’s PC gaming segment has been in the works for some time now.

Its PlayStation Studios Head Hermen Hulst, said in June via a PlayStation blog post that “I want to emphasize that PlayStation will remain the best place to play our PlayStation Studios titles at launch,”

“But we do value PC gamers, and we’ll continue to look at the right times to launch each game.” This became a reality with the likes of Days Gone in February, God of War is coming next year January and Unchartered: Legacy of Thieves Collection sometime in 2022.

Sony is allowing gamers to stand a chance to buy its PS5 for the holidays by registering on its website. The company says that it would send out invitations to those who registered with instructions on how to buy the PS5.

Especially in the United States, there’s “a limited amount of PS5 consoles”. Those who get the invitation will be “based on previous interests and PlayStation activities.”

That means recent owners and engages of its gaming platform should be expecting those invites. You would have to have a PlayStation Network ID to register though.

The global chip shortage has really affected PS5 production, and the company is using creative ways to get its PS5 to gamers. The registration process should get the console to gamers who are in dire need of it for the holidays.

It’s CEO Jim Ryan believes there’s potential in the PC gaming space. He once said, “There’s an opportunity to expose those great games to a wider audience and recognize the economics of game development, which are not always straightforward.”
