Sierra Leone Declares Late Rapper Dagrin Wanted!

Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, also known as Dagrin, has been listed as wanted in Sierra Leone twelve years after his traumatic death.

Recall that the rapper passed on after his car collided with a stationary trailer (heavy-duty vehicle)

in front of Alakara Police Station, off Agege Motor Road, Mushin, Lagos.

At the age of 26, Dagrin passed away at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital, LUTH,

on April 22, 2010, at precisely 6 o’clock in the evening.

On Friday, April 30, 2010, he was laid to rest at the Ebony Millennium Private Vault in the Atan Cemetery.

However in a recent development, Dagrin and a few other young men are now wanted by the Sierra Leonean police

for participating in a violent protest last week.

The singer’s popular photo of him carrying a gun was spotted among the clusters of photos of wanted people.

A Twitter user named @Jeen_Yous shared the news online, and it soon became a trending topic for Nigerians.

In his caption, he wrote: “The Sierra Leone Police release Pictures of wanted people who were part of the violence protest last week and late Nigerian rapper Dagrin is one of them.”

It is still not clear, How dagrin who died 12years ago, happened to be among the young men who trashed a protest in Sierra Leone last week
