Many school kids and some residents have been reportedly trapped after a three-storey building located in Itafaaji area of Lagos Island collapsed on Wednesday, 13th March 2019. Early reports reveal that over 100 pupils remain trapped in the rubble, while others were reported dead.

From the information gathered, it is a residential building with several apartments, with the primary school located on the top floor.

Many students have been rushed to the general hospital in Marina for treatment, while parents flock the site searching for their children.
