Savour The Deliciousness Of Beef and Green Pepper Stir Fry
Beef and green pepper stir fry is a tasty meal and also very economical to prepare. Once you buy your beef, which is relatively cheap compared to Turkey and Chicken, the other ingredients are readily available and affordable.
For beef and green pepper stir fry, you don’t have to use just green peppers and carrots, you can use any other vegetables of your choosing. Thinking of how to prepare this meal? see ingredients and the step by step process below.
- 400g diced beef
- 1 Tablespoon of butter
- 2 Chopped green bell pepper
- 2 Chopped carrots
- 1 Chopped onion
- 2 Tablespoons chopped ginger and garlic
- 1 Cup OF chicken or beef stock
- 4 Tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Paprika
- 2 Knorr chicken cube
- Crushed pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
Season the diced beef with the chicken cubes, and 1 teaspoon Cornflour, combine then leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Then, set aside.
Set a pan on low heat, add a tablespoon of butter. When it melts, add the chopped onions, saute on low heat for 6 minutes or until it begins to caramelize. You may choose to leave the onions to caramelize for longer; the longer the sweeter. Transfer the caramelized onions into a bowl, set aside.
Place the pan back on the hob, add half of the chopped ginger and garlic, saute for a minute, do not burn. Now, add the seasoned beef. Fry on all sides till perfectly cooked. Then transfer into a bowl and set aside.
Place the pan back on the heat, then add the rest of the garlic and ginger, saute for a minute, then add the chopped peppers, carrots, and caramelized onions, Saute for 3 minutes.
Now, add the chicken/beef stock, soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar and paprika, and crushed pepper flakes. Combine, cook for a further minute

Then mix tablespoon cornflour with 1/2 a cup of water, gradually stir this into the sauce. The sauce will begin to thicken at this time.
Taste the sauce to see if it requires more salt or seasoning, if needed, add some more.
Now, add the cooked beef back into the sauce. Combine then cook for 2 minutes. Your Beef and Green Pepper Stir Fry is ready.
