Samsung is reportedly working on a Galaxy Home Mini 2 with display, a newer version of the Galaxy Home Mini. This report from SamMobile is a significant update to the 2019 released smart speaker.
The newer display with the Samsung smart speaker could resemble the likes of the Galaxy Mini, Amazon Echo Show or Google’s Home Hub. Possibly, the Home Mini 2 will have a global launch as its predecessor was only limited to South Korea.
SamMobile also says this new smart speaker should carry the SM-V320 model number, with no certain pricing yet.
Samsung has updated its now quiet Tizen OS line of smartwatches with new watch faces, better fall detection and others. The South Korean company has earlier announced its plan to use Google’s Wear OS software for its Galaxy watches.

This move ended the usage of its own custom “Tizen OS” for its newer smartwatches beginning from the newer Galaxy watch 4. However, the company has pledged to continue to support its own Tizen OS smartwatches.
That means the Galaxy Watch, Watch 3, Watch Active and Galaxy Watch Active will get new watch faces and health features. These new updates are part of the recently released One UI 4 OS.
The original Galaxy Home Mini was a test into the market for Samsung, gathering feedback from customers over the years. Just Maybe the Mini 2 would build on that success by launching globally, but Samsung could keep its launch within South Korea.
