Candy Crush Friends Saga is launching a new augmented reality feature for Samsung Galaxy Phones. The feature is called Hungry Yeti and is exclusive to Galaxy phones. Samsung apparently rolls out the feature in time for the Friday release of the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus.

With the AR Hungry Yeti, players can feed cookies to the main Candy Crush Friends Saga character, Yeti. The players will, in turn, score a daily gift that can help them progress. It will come up when they are switching and matching candies in the game.

Samsung Galaxy users can bring Yeti back to life by pointing their device at the floor or table to open a portal. Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus users can also activate an exclusive Yeti dance. They can do this by shaking their new S Pen.

Candy Crush uploads a video of Korea Hip Hop stars, Lisa and Jisoo testing the feature. Meanwhile, both youngsters form a group called Blackpink.

The Caption reads:

“Lisa and Jisoo from #BLACKPINK are big fans of #CandyCrushFriends! They came to visit us in Stockholm to be the first to try the new Hungry Yeti AR Feature exclusively on Samsung Galaxy Store.”

In a statement, Lisa says,

“We are big fans of Candy Crush. While we are on tour, we spend a lot of time in transit and in hotel rooms, which is when we tend to play the most.”

Users of Samsung Galaxy devices on level 25 and above are now able to use the Hungry Yeti AR feature.
